The only known footage of UCLA's Thai music ensemble under Prof. David Morton. Morton, who was a graduate of UCLA's Institute of Ethnomusicology and then a member of the faculty from 1962 to 1985, was the first non-Thai scholar to undertake serious study of the Thai royal court music tradition. Highlights of an event held at UCLA on May 23, 2015 to celebrate the recent restoration of UCLA's collection of Thai musical instruments. The instruments were restored by Dr. Supeena Insee Adler, who also led the ensemble performance. These instruments, including some of the finest outside of Thailand, had previously remained silent for three decades.

Shows annual celebration in Jamaica, January 6, by the Maroons, descendants of Africans brought to Jamaica by the Spanish in the 17th century. The singing, dancing, and festivities commemorate the ancestral leader Kojo and his victory over the British in 1738-39.
